Getting started

1. Install MagnifySlider from the Chrome Web Store
2. Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin MagnifySlider
3. Open a video on a supported site and press pause

The slider appears below the player. Press play and it disappears.

Activating a licence

Click the MagnifySlider icon in your toolbar, paste your licence key, and hit Activate. Your key is in your purchase receipt email.

Lost your key? Gumroad holds it for you. Look up your purchase by email at gumroad.com/charge, or sign in at gumroad.com/library.

The slider isn't appearing

• The video has to be paused. The slider is hidden during playback by design.
• Check the site is supported: YouTube, Udemy, Vimeo and Coursera. Other sites aren't matched.
• Check your browser: Chrome, Edge and Brave. Not Firefox or Safari.
• Check the extension is switched on at chrome://extensions.
• If your trial has ended, the slider stops appearing until a licence is activated. Click the toolbar icon to see your status.

My key won't activate

• Not recognised means Gumroad didn't match the key. Check for a missing character or a trailing space.
• Could not reach Gumroad is a network problem, not a bad key. Try again.
• A refunded or reversed purchase can't be activated.

The trial

Seven days from install, no card required. The extension shows a notice as the trial nears its end. Changing your system clock won't extend it.

What MagnifySlider doesn't do

It works on videos already playing in your browser on the four supported sites. It doesn't work on Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ or other DRM-protected services, and it doesn't download video.

On a paused live stream it works across what your browser has already buffered, which may be a short window.

MagnifySlider collects nothing. No analytics, no account, no browsing data. Read the full policy.
